Superficial inspections

If you live far from Athens, Greece and want to know about the overall condition of a vessel (up to 50 feet) in order to decide if a condition survey is necessary, we can carry out a walk through inspection for you at an economical price. It gives a general idea of the vessel’s condition and includes:
• General visual inspection of the vessel (hull, deck, deck fittings, accommodation areas, engine space, mast and rigging). Moisture measurements can be taken if the vessel is ashore
• Listing of major visible problems
• Gathering general information about the vessel
• Taking photos
An email describing our findings and including various photographs will be sent to you together with our opinion on the general condition of the vessel. You can then decide whether you want to proceed with a detailed inspection or not.
This type of survey will be free of transportation charges when carried out in a perimeter of max 30 kms from the office (in the Athens area). Transportation costs will be charged for vessels located outside Athens.
